To ensure that students can easily and effectively learn Bachelor’s degree programs at universities, IIEVN provides some Foundation programs designed to help students meet the academic requirements of universities. Students will gain knowledge that aligns with their interests and future career goals. Meanwhile, they also develop necessary foundational skills and knowledge to study effectively in a university environment, excel at their Bachelor’s degree program. Our Foundation program serves as a base for learners to achieve a prestigious Bachelor’s degree.

Depending on your English proficiency level and GPA, the duration and program may vary. On average, the program duration is as follows:

6-8 months for an IELTS band score of 5.5

9 months for an IELTS band score of 5.0

12-18 months for an IELTS band score of 4.5

• To participate and take standardized tests such as the SAT (a widely used and standardized test for college admissions in the U.S.), the ACT (an entrance exam for top U.S. universities with over 2 million students taking it annually and whose results are recognized by 100% of US universities, as well as many prestigious universities around the world), and the GRE (used for graduate school admissions in natural sciences and social sciences in the US).
• Develop computer skills and university-level learning skills, making information searching process easier and more accurate. • International High School: This is an educational program integrated by IIEVN with foreign educational programs, ensuring the objectives of the Vietnamese educational program are maintained without duplication of content or knowledge. Students will study both the Vietnamese and international (British, Australian, American) programs to obtain two diplomas. The International Institute of Education Vietnam currently has two regular programs:

• Organizational format: Students will be arranged into classes based on age groups

STUDY ABROAD/SEMESTER ABROAD

“Semester abroad” is considered a new effort  Institute for International Education Vietnam in training students to become global citizens. This is a great opportunity for students to experience an educational environment abroad and develop their language skills simultaneously. They could gain more knowledge about the host country’s culture, and introduce Vietnamese culture to international friends.

What is studying abroad?

The cooperation between IIEVN and partner universities in other countries allows students from both universities to study at a partner university for 1 to 2 semesters with equivalent tuition fees to those in Vietnam. The students’ study results will be recognized and converted to the program of the Institute with the same total study time. Depending on the partner university, students will receive different benefits such as scholarships, dormitory support, etc. Students who participate in the program will gain many benefits and opportunities to study in an international university environment, and experience new cultures.

Language ability

Studying in another country means that students must use the language of the host country or English entirely, and there are very few opportunities to use Vietnamese. Therefore, if their language skills are not good enough, students will not only have difficulty in daily life but also may not be able to understand the teaching content, directly affecting their graduation results later.
