SUPPLEMENTAL EDUCATIONAL PROGRAMS

SUPPLEMENTAL EDUCATIONAL PROGRAMS

Extracurricular programs are very useful for the learning process, orientation, and development of students. These activities are usually diverse and conver different topics. Students can choose to participate based on their abilities, interests, and individual needs. Institute for International Education acknowledges the importance of these activities in developing the necessary skills of students. At the same time, we will also introduce extracurricular activities that we are implementing.

Students with current extracurricular programs

Currently, with the development of media and online entertainment channels (games, social networks) have made young people increasingly dependent on convenient online entertainment methods anytime and anywhere. This makes them reluctant to participate in outdoor recreational activities. It seems that young people are gradually losing interest in extracurricular activities and consider them a “nuisance” when forced to participate, reducing their ability to absorb, learn, interact, and communicate with society.

This is a worrisome passive attitude among young people, who should be the most passionate and dynamic. Recognizing this issue, Institute for International Education has developed extracurricular activities programs and appropriate skill classes for the developmental age of students.

The programs organize by Institute for International Education always aim for the best quality of education.

The International Institute of Education Vietnam currently has two regular programs:

  • The regular program includes summer activities such as visits, exploration, tourism, and experiences aimed at creating a playground for students to build and develop their problem-solving and reactive skills.
  • We continuously call for enrollment in courses teaching necessary skills for personal development such as presentation, note-taking, critical thinking, interviewing, and create dynamic individuals with critical thinking, creativity, and courage to think and act. We aim to create high-quality human resources for the society.

The comprehensive training program for developing thinking and living skills includes the following details:

  • Age group: from 6 to 18 years old
  • Organizational format: Students will be arranged into classes based on age groups
  • Learning location: Students will learn at the Institute, as well as at various locations for field trips and extracurricular activities.
  • Learning time: Each class will last from 2 to 2.5 hours, scheduled in the evenings and on weekends to avoid interfering with regular class schedules.
  • Learning method: Each student’s personality, ability, strengths, and weaknesses will be identified by experts at IIEVN to create a personalized learning method to enhance and develop their comprehensive thinking, psychology, personality, skills, and abilities.
  • We focus on the students and help them engage in real-life situations and practice artistic expression, presentation skills, teamwork, leadership, confidence in front of crowds, smart interactions and decision-making. We help students gain true confidence, affirm themselves, and supplement the best and most successful life skills for both present and future life.

Through the support of educational programs provided by IIEVN, students will have the foundation to choose their future direction, whether it be to become a scholarship recipient in a prestigious university or a successful entrepreneur in a field of society.
