IIE INSTITUTE FOR INTERNATIONAL EDUCATION EXPANDS COOPERATION WITH DCG AND AWA INSTITUTE IN GERMANY

Within the framework of activities to promote international cooperation and create conditions for Vietnamese students to access European standard education and careers, President of the Institute for International Education IIE, Dr. Tran Xuan Thao, visited and worked in the Federal Republic of Germany with two strategic partners: DCG International Institute (https://dcg-halle.de) and AWA Institute of Education and Training (www.awa-ev.de)

DCG International Institute – Pioneer in international joint training cooperation

Established in 1999, the DCG International Institute has established itself as one of the pioneering organizations in Germany in implementing joint training programs with international partners. DCG has closely cooperated with universities and educational institutions in many countries, especially in Asia such as China, Vietnam, Thailand, India and Pakistan.

 

DCG's training programs include:
  • Dual vocational training program: Combining theory at training facilities and practice at enterprises, helping students quickly adapt to the real working environment.
  • University joint program: Cooperating with universities in Germany and international partners to implement bachelor's and master's programs, including dual degree programs.
  • Soft skills and foreign language training program: Providing courses on soft skills, languages ​​and preparing students before participating in specialized training programs.

With extensive experience in implementing joint training programs, DCG is the ideal partner for IIE to expand educational and career opportunities for Vietnamese students.

AWA Institute of Education and Training – Unit recognized by IHK Germany in training and diploma recognition

At the meeting with AWA Institute of Education and Training, Dr. Tran Xuan Thao discussed the strategy to support Vietnamese learners in their vocational training and work in Germany. In particular, AWA Institute of Education and Training is recognized by IHK Germany (German Chamber of Industry and Commerce) as a qualified institution to conduct vocational training as well as evaluate and recognize international degrees. In this role, AWA Institute of Education and Training is an important bridge between the German vocational education system and international learners.
AWA Institute of Education and Training also supports students in preparing documents, career orientation, and connecting directly with the network of recruiting businesses, helping to improve employment opportunities after graduation.

New opportunities for Vietnamese students

Through the effective working trip and working with two prestigious partners in Germany, the Institute for International Education IIE has achieved important steps in implementing the following programs:

? Cooperate in organizing vocational study abroad programs in Germany for Vietnamese students
? Support students to have their degrees recognized and gain international work experience

? Expand connections with German businesses, creating practical job opportunities right after graduation

This is part of the Institute’s international education strategy, aiming at the goal: “Education for All“.

In the coming time, IIE will closely coordinate with DCG International Institute and AWA Education and Training Institute to bring practical and long-term learning and career opportunities for Vietnamese learners in high-tech labor markets such as Germany.
