On April 8, 2025, the Representative Office of the Institute of International Education (IIE) of Vietnam and the Faculty of International Studies – Hue University jointly organized a talk on “History and Culture of Hue“. The talk was a meaningful activity organized by the Institute of International Education (IIE), dedicated to a delegation of 18 American students from the SIT Study Abroad – World Learning Vietnam program (within the framework of the course “Culture and Development in Vietnam”) and students majoring in International Relations at the Faculty of International Studies – Hue University.

The atmosphere of the talk became very special with the engaging guidance and profound knowledge of the speaker, Dr. Huynh Thi Anh Van – Former Director of Hue Royal Antiquities Museum, the students had an interesting journey of discovery about the ancient capital. From the ups and downs of history, the unique features of royal architecture, the special intangible cultural values to the development process of Hue city, all were shared by Dr. Anh Van in a lively and engaging way for more than two hours.
